confused peak meters on Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 / 40

Reported by: skibb Assigned to: arnonym
Priority: major Milestone: FFADO 2.x
Component: ffado-mixer Version: FFADO SVN (trunk)
Keywords: saffire peak meter Cc:
The device the bug applies to: Focusrite Saffire Pro 24

Description

When changing the routing for a Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 with the ffado-mixer the LED peak meters on the interface's front panel get confused. That means that for example the meter for input 3 does show the level on input 1 and sometimes two meters show the same level of another input simultaneously. I haven't really figured out the principle though (if there is any?!). I have heard of the same problem with a Saffire Pro 40.

Could you please re-test with a recent SVN snapshot (say, r2117 or later)? Some recent changes (r2109 and r2110 specifically) may have improved the Saffire Pro 24 routing problems noted in this ticket.

Hey...! I just tested it with r2117 and yeah... it works now! Thanks for solving this issue and to all of you ffado-guys for the great work! :)
