jackdmp and Echo AudoFire4 audio stops after many hours of runtime

Description

jackd runs good for hours with 'jackd -v -R -d firewire -r 44100 -p 512 -n 2 -v6' command.

After some hours, the audio stops and there are repeating errors, but jackd does not die or terminate. Discussing with Pieter the suggestion is to file a ticket and document the errors.

I run SVN libffado-2.0 (r1319) and jackdmp from jack2 SVN trunk (r2920).

An error is detected and FFADO requests shutdown. The fact that it doesn't stop is related to #148.

The question is: what triggers the error.

Can you reproduce this with normal jack 1.0?

Is this FFADO from trunk or from the 2.0 branch?

  • resolution set to fixed.

due to the lack of feedback I assume that this is fixed. Please try the most recent version (preferable SVN libfreebob-2.0 branch) and check whether it is still a problem.
