Implement dual-wire DICE mode so 4x sample rates work

Reported by: jwoithe Assigned to:
Priority: waiting for device info Milestone: Indeterminant (need device info)
Component: devices/dice Version: FFADO SVN (trunk)
Keywords: Cc:
The device the bug applies to: dice

Description

DICE devices are currently unsupported at 4x sample rates (ie: 176.4 kHz and 192 kHz). On all known devices as of 1 May 2012, these rates require dual-wire mode and this has not yet been implemented in FFADO's streaming engine.

For this reason, the DICE driver doesn't advertise 4x rates as supported as of r2133. When dual-wire mode is implemented the commented out sections can be trivially activated to enable 4x rate support.

The change of ownership is interesting. Let us know if you receive any reply.

P.S. I change my profire 610 to profire 2626.

Does this mean that you no longer have the 610?

Replying to jwoithe:

Yes! Profire 610 and Profire 2626 have a same chip and schematics, but 2626 have more analog inputs and outputs, adat and worldclock soldered to DICE chip.
